Wow!
That’s the only word I can think of to describe the wonderful time everyone had on Sept. 18, 2012, at LI3’s fundraising dinner at the Sahara Restaurant.
Many thanks to the approximately 50 people who came to support LI3, and to the Sahara for a delicious Middle Eastern dinner. Not only were there many old friends to greet, but we all enjoyed the spirited bellydancing by beautiful Mila, an immigrant from Montenegro (now an American citizen), mother of two who is earning her Ph.D at CU!
To top it all off, an anonymous donor has matched the 15 percent pledged by the Sahara Restaurant, so that 30 percent of the meals purchased last night will come to the LI3!! Our sincere thanks to this generous donor as well.
